The internal multiplication of the operating pressure maximizes clamping forces while minimizing cylinder dimensions and weight. |

The integrated control valve closes
automatically after the cylinder has reached maximum force. It functions
then as a safety valve and allows the cylinder to be safely disconnected
from the pressure source. |

The cylinder remains absolutely leakproof when disconnected and maintains the maximum force even for weeks and months. |

Simson Cylinders have been successfully applied as clamping cylinders in
pile drivers and vibrators on construction sites for many years. They not
only stand rough handling, extreme stress and acceleration but also meet
the highest safety standards. |
Two product lines, one with front
flange and another with rear flange, are available. Clamping forces range
from 315 to 2000 kN.
